Reach to Majnu ka tilla at 4.30 PM. From there board overnight Volvo to Manali. This will be an Overnight journey.
Reach Manali around 0800 Hours our vehicle will pick you from bus stand & drop you at hotel. Once you get room take rest and enjoy the view of Valley from your room.
Early morning check out from hotel with packed breakfast to Sarchu. Drive over Rohtang Pass (3970m.) to Lahaul valley, along the Chandra River to Keylong is the district headquarters of Lahaul & Spiti and through the valley of Lahaul. Drive through Darcha, Patsao, Zingzing Bar and over Barlacha-La (4892m.) pass, which is one of the most dangerous pass among other, passes on the way to Leh.
Drive through two high passes are known as Namkila and Lachalang -La (5065m.) and second one just above the Brandy bridge. After Sarchu drive in a curving all the way up to PANG and mountains are without snow/cold desert.
At Devring point the road goes right up to the pass in a horizontal way and at the foot of the pass Kyang Chu Thang can be seen. At the top of the pass a tiny temple and a few prayer flags flutter in the strong winds that are peculiar of this pass. This is the highest pass and second motor able in the world on the way.
After breakfast drive towards western part of Ladakh along the Indus river on Leh – Srinagar highway. And start sightseeing with Hall of Fame (Museum founded by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib founded in 15th century, Nestled deep in the Himalayas, drive ahead another 5 km for Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reached the Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River.
After breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,380 ft, around 39 km from Leh.
After an early breakfast we check out from the Camp and drive to Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snow capped mountains on the horizon.
On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley.
Full day trip, after early morning breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake enroute visit Thiksey morning pooja, where one can see the monks on their daily routine through Changla pass (17,586 ft) world third highest motorable road in the world. After 2 hrs of drive you reach to Changla pass, stop for a short period for photography.
Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to leh enroute visiting Hemis monasterya, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyut Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight
In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping.
After breakfast check out and drive to Kargil enroute we can make stop at Lamayuru.
Also known as Yung-Drung, this monastery is home to more than 150 monks and houses a rich collection of artifacts, wall paintings, thangas, statues, carpets and an impressive 11-headed, 1000 eyed image of Chenzing.
Early departure for Srinagar driving through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) to reach Sonamarg from where it’s a smooth 2-hour drive to Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside. Arrive hotel in Srinagar for dinner and overnight .
After breakfast check out and proceed for the half day sightseeing of Srinagar which include the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughals, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background.
Later transfer to airport & board flight to onward destination.
