This was my first ever Jungle Safari with all unknown people and my first ever experience with Happy Journey.
Though I was bit unsure of this entire trip being first of its kind, my feelings changed the moment I entered the train and met the group. We were no longer strangers.

Few sequels tend to exceed expectations. Thankfully, I can’t say the same for my second trip with Happy Journey. Because they more than exceeded every expectation I had from this trip. I needed a break and the women’s tour to Kanha was just that. I’m not exactly a nature person but I’m beginning to reconsider that part after being in Kanha.
More often than not, we make plans with friends to travel to different places and see amazing things, eat, drink and explore. But then life catches up with us and plans get pushed. We get busy and forget all about the inner traveler in us, the one waiting to breathe in the air of a new picturesque location.
If you are one of those people, then let me list down just a few reasons why you should consider packing your bags, maybe calling your friends and setting out for the places you have been wanting to go to since ages!

Day 5 – Dhuandhar!
On the fifth day we headed for Bhedaghat, which was 20kms from Jabalpur. Known for its Dhuandhar falls and marble rocks, this place has quite a lot to offer. I personally love waterfalls and I was pretty excited about the visit. But as we proceeded, the trip unfolded new facts for me. The place was as wonderful as it ever was. The photographs prove it.
Day 3 & Day 4 – The Evenings!
While the day was reserved for safaris, evenings were for explorations! We had jungle walks in the buffer area of the jungle. The core area was reserved only for safaris. But the buffer zone was open to all. There were villages and resorts in the buffer zone. The advantage of the buffer zone was that it was a part of jungle. So we had herds of deer passing through the buffer zone. Farmers often complained about destruction/consumption of crops by these herds. The villagers often saw tigers and bear! All the jungle beasts were part of the villagers’ life!
Day 3 & Day 4 – The Safari
The morning tea arrived sharp at 4.00 am waking us up and getting us on our toes. The morning chill almost froze us. The safari began! This was my first experience of Jungle. Dense forest. Huge trees. A breathtaking view. That moment when the enchantment makes you ecstatic. I was captivated!!! In case, you may feel that I am exaggerating and over-describing the series of events, here are the pictures of the jungle. Please do leave your reactions, opinions and descriptions of the pictures in the comment box below!!
The most crucial, integral and awaited part of any travel, especially a planned tour, is the resort or the hotel. Whether its a budget travel or a luxury one what I expect is value for money. A good resort is as essential as the good destination because you never know when you’ll turn your resort into your destination. While many people do believe that hotels are no more than a place for abeyant or unproductive activities and do not believe in investing very highly on a good Resort/Hotel; There are a Few reasons to opt for a good Resort/Hotel :
